After opened an international direct route from Manado to Narita in September, Garuda Indonesia Cargo has continued to strive in improving the growth of our exports in East Indonesia through direct air cargo flights by opening an international route to Singapore directly from Makassar city. Now, the aircraft would fly directly to Singapore so that would take a shorter flight time and become more efficient for you. The first flight from Makassar to Singapore was on Monday (05/10) with flight number GA8440 using the Garuda Indonesia's A330-300 aircraft type. The flight will carry various commodities, including Fresh Tuna, Live Crabs, Fresh Fish and Fresh Fruits, with a total cargo weight of 22,405 kilograms. The schedule for GA8440 would be operated on 12, 19 and 26 October 2020 with departure time at 16.00 and would arrive in Singapore at 18.40 local time.
