Human Remains

Definition: Garuda Indonesia Cargo provides corpse delivery services for domestic and international destinations.

You can fly in the same plane with the corpse, or you can entrust the body to us

General Requirement :

  •  Please bring the body to the quarantine board for inspection before boarding
  • Complete the required documents before sending
  • Take the body to the Cargo Service Center at the airport

Document: Air Waybill, Death Certificate, Letters from quarantine officer, COVID-19 Free Certification

Flow:

  • The shipper does the booking via website/Cargo Service Center
  • Shipper comes to Regulated Agent (RA) with the cargo along with the documents that must be prepared (Air Waybill, Death Certificate, Letters from quarantine officer, COVID-19 Free Certification)
  • Regulated Agents (RA) checks the data & supervises if there are forbidden goods inside (narcotics & drugs)
  • The body will be taken to the warehouse & placed separately
  • When the time of departure approaches, the body will be carried using the Baggage Cart Cargo is ready to be loaded onto the plane according to applicable regulations
  • When the body reaches the destination, the cargo will be unloaded from the aircraft
  • The body will be transported to the warehouse using a Baggage Cart
  • The body is ready to be picked up by the consignee
