General Requirement:

  • The contents of the cargo should be in good condition. If the durian shipment is a shipment with a transit route, it must be ensured that connecting time has been confirmed.
  • Delivery is packaged inadequately, or if in the airway bill there are unclear instructions, then the shipment is not accepted. Shipping handling information must be carefully considered whether it is in accordance with the storage, handling, and transportation of air cargo.
  • Packaging should have standards that ensure protection against contents, prevent other cargo contamination and spills or leaks during travel.

  • Airway bill
  • Phytosanitary certificate
  • CITES documents (if required by quarantine agencies)
  • Quarantine documents of plants, soil, and certain other materials
  • Export/import documents issued by authorities in each country of origin/shipper (for shipments to and from abroad)

  • The styrofoam box should be used as an outer container and coated again with fiberboard and tightly sealed to prevent the discharge of the smell.
  • The maximum allowed weight is 30 kg/box

  • The shipper is advised to mark all packets with the recipient's name, address, and phone number
  • All shipments must be labeled with the STANDARD IATA label "PERISHABLE"
  • The label "This Way Up" on all four sides of the container whenever possible
  • Each packaging must have a "Fragile" or "Handle With Care" label.
