Jakarta, August 31, 2020 – Garuda Indonesia Cargo and KALCare have successfully organized the “Garuda Storytelling Online via Zoom with Kak Ulil”. The event was held on Monday (31/8) with the presenter Kak Zilla and Kak Ulil. The enthusiasm of Indonesian traditional folktales is still high, plus the very interesting storytelling from Kak Ulil. Kak Ulil's storytelling introduced the heroes from Indonesia who are also great and cool compare to today's cartoon superheroes, that are part of American Pop Culture. The storytelling's theme was "Garuda Mendongeng - Semarak Kemerdekaan bersama Generasi Cerdas". Still, In the spirit of the 75th Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day.

In his storytelling, Kak Ulil brings up the heroic characters of the siblings who have overcome all obstacles on their way to meet their family. Kak Ulil reminded the kids about the exciting experience of flying with Garuda Indonesia. In addition, Kak Ulil introduced the many conveniences of goods’ delivery with Garuda Indonesia Cargo. The invitation to the parents to join with Garuda Indonesia Cargo’s partnership also echoed in the fairy tale. It is hoped that all online storytelling participants would know more about Garuda Indonesia and Garuda Indonesia Cargo by adding their product knowledge.

Kak Ulil also gave a message to the kids who participated in the online storytelling to be brave. Actually, we have “a hero” within our souls. After the storytelling, an interesting quiz about general knowledge and products was held. The quiz was so fun! Then, three winners were announced and they would have free merchandises from Garuda Indonesia Cargo and KALCare. Overall, the event went smoothly and the participants of the online storytelling event were so happy with the online event. Hopefully, Indonesia’s young generations would always love Indonesian traditional folktales as one of our nation's cultures.
