Unit Load Device (ULD) is a device or part of an aircraft that can be removed to be used to load luggage or cargo. Usually, this tool consists of a pallet or container. ULD has a limit on the capacity and weight of objects and has its packaging so that its contents can be tracked.
ULD in the form of a pallet has a rough sheet of aluminum and is designed to lock clean cargo, whereas the ULD containers have a design like a can.
ULD is a part of the loading and unloading process and cargo calculation.
